Durbanville Hills – Some Different Hills

Sometimes eating out feels a bit like always being on ‘duty’ and like hard work. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE food and I love eating out – but sometimes I just want to relax and not have to think about taking pictures of the food, the restaurant and the view. Or just go somewhere without ‘judging’ the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Yes, I know it is my own choice and it’s not even like I’m a famous blogger or anyone reads my witterings, but I decided to just take Easter weekend off and relax with family and friends and not think about blogging or restaurants. Yesterday we visited Durbanville Hills and had some Meat & Cheese Platters and wine outside in the garden while the kids went on an Easter Egg Hunt. We had a look around the restaurant and took some pictures of Table Mountain and the surrounding hills and just chilled. The platters and wine were good, as was the conversation, and we had a lovely afternoon under the trees without any thoughts about ‘working’. Leaving you with some pictures…go and visit, it is well worth it!
